USAFL Announce Multiple Nationals

The United States Australian Football League recently announced the venues for the next two years of the national championships. In 2012 the games will return to Mason Ohio and in 2013 they will be in Dublin Ohio.

These announcements we are sure come within the master plan of the USAFL to better prepare all participants in the National Championships each year. Although we at USFootyNews applauds the work put forward to secure venues and host cities so far in advance HOWEVER the reasoning behind the two choices will most liekly bring much debate. Many who attended the Mason Ohio event commented on lack of facilities at the fields and its overall location. Not having the event also centered near a major city drove up flight costs for players, the one group the event is aimed at accommodating.

So following again in that vein we see 2013 going to Dublin Ohio which for the record is on the outskirts of Columbus. Again travel will be an issue, as it always, but certainly several clubs in the north will benefit. So if Mason was a surprise for 2012 we are sure Dublin will be.

Let us know your thoughts.
