Cincinnati in 15th Anniversary Game

The Cincinnati Dockers in the 15th Anniversary of the beginning of the USAFL finished off their 2011 schedule with a handy win over nearest neighbor the Louisville Kings winning 12.19.91 to Louisville 4.9.33

Around this time 15 years ago, a team from Cincinnati, now known as the Dockers, challenged a team from Louisville, now known as the Kings, in the first ever match of Australian Football between 2 US based clubs. Who at that game would believe the game would soon flourish and become what it is today.

The Dockers traveled strongly Saturday to Louisville just a 90 minute drive like they have many times before over the years. The teams in recent times have often shared resources and players so its fitting that their rivalry from the very first game is now a respectful friendship and the game has grown around them. Well done to both teams.
