Nationals Division 1 Not Just Two Teams
Wednesday, 05 October 2011 15:51This weekend it might look like another year where just two or three teams have a chance to be crowned the Premier footy club in the USA but look closer and you see there is a lot more to it than that. With New York and Denver slotted as #1 and #2 seeds one could easily think its going to a repeat of 2010 but there are six other teams scratching at the door hungry for success. USFootyNews spoke to several clubs this week and the response was always the same; "We are in to win it".
Sacramento's New League Brings New Ideas On Sport's Growth
Thursday, 19 April 2012 19:30The Sacramento Australian Football Club is fast becoming another success story of the USAFL. With exponential growth the club is taking the next big leap in 2012 by commencing a league that allows tackling and full contact to go with their already blossoming co-ed non contact Aussie Rules Football league.
It is quite interesting to note the difference in this clubs development life cycle as opposed to the past traditional mens teams seen around the USA, where normally a bunch of guys get together and start a "one team in one city" full contact men's club.
