Earlier in the year, USFootyNews.com, held a vote for the best action photo of 2008. The winner was Neil Sauer (pictured in his Coopers gear) with his photo of New York Magpie Garth Nevin flying over Denver Bulldog (and USFooty President) Rich Mann at the Faststream Invitational in Florida early in 2008.
Sauer lives in Mildura Vic Australia where he works as postman, although he has been living in New York on and off since 2000. More recently has become an unofficial photographer for the New York Magpies travelling with them on occassion, including to Florida last year where the Nevin Mark was one of many photos that he took. Photography has been long time hobby and enjoys taking photos of nature, cities, motor cycles and of course, footy. Congratulations to Neil, Garth and Rich on creating the best action photo of 2008!
