Los Angeles Dragons Going Full Steam

We looked at the launch party invite for July 16th, then at the recent results, then back, pondered and just said "wow". A team in their inaugural year doesn't do this we questioned? But the Dragons are not any run of the mill team under the tutelage of former OC coach John Fragomeni, the Dragons have hit the ground running with wins all over the place.

DragonsLaunchInviteSMIt normally takes a few years of enthusiastic road games to build morale, many social functions and normally a fledgling trip to the Nationals combining with another team to get on the field, before any new team starts to see progress. But that was the old days. With a recruiting drive and pool of local players to pull from the Los Angeles Dragons are not only on the map but they are larger than life.

Already with Aussie home support through the signing of their #1 ticket holder legendary footy commentator Denis Cometti the Dragons are hitting winners at every turn. And looks look at a few results. Wins against Las Vegas and two wins against prime time Division 1 club San Diego as well as Fragomeni's old club OC, its no wonder many few people are taking notice of the Dragons first year.

Team coaches in the west and probably in the east as well will be looking for the results eagerly of the tourney September 24th where the Dragons will stake their claim on a Nationals campaign. Who knows they could even end up in division one. Wouldn't that be news and certainly a feather in the cap of everyone at the Los Angeles Dragons Football Club.
