The Baton Rouge Tigers are hosting the Atlanta Kookaburras at 1pm on Saturday April 12 at Clark Park in Baton Rouge LA.  While they beat the Kookas first time out, in 2007 they where soundly beat in the home and home series.  The Tigers are hoping for a substantial improvement in 2008.  According to the Tigers Pat Muller, “The Tigers and Kookaburras are invigorated this season with some exciting young talent so both teams will look to build on the lessons learnt the first week of the season.  It promises to be a massive game played in excellent spirit between two clubs with a great deal of respect for one another.”  Atlanta soundly beat Florida in their first go out in 2008.  They are hoping to go 2-0 with their trip down to Louisiana.
