Chicago United and the Nashville Kangaroos renew old acquintances on Saturday (April 26 2008) at 2pm at Elmington Park in Nashville for MAAFL Championship points. After a heated match in Chicago in 2007, the two teams are looking to start their 2008 season on the write foot. Nashville have a number of players back from Revolution Training camp and will be looking to improve on their performance against Atlanta.

Chicago Head Coach, Paul Drake, is hoping his team is ready. "Nashville is always a tough game, especially down there. Last year's game was an interesting one that added more fire to the great rivalry that has evolved between these two clubs with absolutely no love lost between us. Weather has been the talking point here in Chicago as the winter dragged on and on meaning an interrupted pre season," says Drake. That said, Drake was impressed with the performances in the recent Coaches Cup.

Nashville will be relying on Luke Nemeth, Dee Vtecka and David Walker, all three of whom were named to the US Revolution Squad, as well as Roo stalwart Jeff Persson who is an alternate for the Revolution. Mid-American Australian Football League 2007 Premiers, Chicago, has USFooty Team of the Decade player, Warrick Burgmann at full forward, but will be looking to some younger players like Drew Wolfe, Neil Morrisey and the Hoyt brothers to make the difference.
