The No. 1 San Diego Lions head to Las Vegas to take on the Gamblers at 7pm at Aviary Park. According to the Gambler President, Kurt Anderson, "We are expecting another clinic. They have just been extremely good every time we have played them. They run through, they link up, they don’t put the ball on the ground and their defense is outstanding especially when we try to get it out of our end of the ground. We do appreciate their willingness to play because we learn so much watching them.

We played San Diego twice last year and with all due respect to Denver and their dynasty, I think San Diego is the best team in America right now." Lions Head Coach, Simon Schenk, is hoping for good things. "We are very fortunate here at the Lions to have 5 Revolution team players, and with the International Cup only 3 months away, I expect those players, such as Brandon Blankenship, Donnie Lucero, Brett Ulman, JJ Cisneros and Justin Valley to lead from the front and show our new players the way. Also, look for our captain Brendan McDonald to be leading the way in the goal square."
