The improving St Louis Blues (1-1) face another test on Saturday when they host the Nashville Kangaroos (2-1). The Blues are backing up after being well beaten by Chicago United in Chicago. Nashville is hoping to cement its place atop the MAAFL Championship with a good performance in St Louis. Nashville have been at home for their first two MAAFL games but did very well against Chicago and held off a determined Cincinnati team. The Blues head coach,
Dan Sarbacker is cautious. “I expect they will be fired up; these clubs have traded wins over the past 6-8 years, and I would think that they feel as if we stole one from them last year down there in an absolute slogfest in the rain. They'll be eager to pick up a win and probably judge their win and our loss against Chicago as a barometer of the standard they are heading into.” A number of Revolution players will be plying their trade on Saturday. It will be interesting to see if Nashville can contain Sarbacker on the forward line and at the other end whether St Louis can stop Dee Vstecka.
Games are played in Buder Park, which is in the municipality of Valley Park, Missouri. Games start at 2:00.
