The Philadelphia Hawks are traveling to North Carolina to take on the Tigers and open their 2008 EAFL account. The Tigers and Hawks have traded regular season wins for the last 3 years with the home team coming on top each time. The game will be held on the Tiger's new ground at Cedar Fork Soccer Park - Morrisville. Gametime is 2 PM.
The Hawks are led by Revo Jon Loring, who is one of many Revolution players and alums now with head coach jobs in USFooty. North Carolina are keen to host the Hawks and have mostly recovered from the loss to the Baltimore Washington Eagles in DC. Unfortunately, for the Tigers their Head Coach, big Jason Heathcote, is still out with a knee and will have to coach from the sidelines on Saturday.
Heathcote is excited about the game. "I am expecting a fun day first of all. Forecast to be 95 degrees, we will have about 6 new players playing their first EAFL game, and a solid turnout from all players. I think we have a definite shot at winning the game as long as we stick to the fundamentals practiced at trainings and keep things simple and enjoyable. I am also expecting some of our newer players to carry us to victory. Players like Zac Tart, Jordan Lee, Cole Bradburn, Ross Pleban are all new but will all probably figure in our best players. This is incredible considering cumulatively they have probably played ten games." Quote this article on your site I Views: 158
