The Ohio Valley formed in 2008, combining old rivals the Louisville Kings and the Cincinnati Dockers into a new club to compete in the Mid-American Australian Football League (MAAFL). Since forming they have played their first two game on the road in Nashville and Chicago, going down both times. Coach, Kyle Strenski, is happy to be at home for this game against the Milwaukee Bombers and the next MAAFL game.

"Playing Nashville and Chicago away to start the season has been tough. Those are two very good teams at home or away. Coming out of the Chicago game we had a few guys banged up, so that is more of a concern entering this weekend's competition. Overall there has been some differences in preparation, but the biggest will be our utilization of a different line up for the third straight MAAFL game."

"I expect Milwaukee to come down with a very fit, skilled, and experienced side looking for a MAAFL victory. By combining Cincinnati and Louisville, we are constantly learning more about our players and how they work together than worrying about a particular aspect of the opposition. We have proven that we are out to win and that no team can look past us," says Strenski.

2008 has been a challenge for Milwaukee but it will be looking to its captain Ross Siegel to lead them to the win against the Ohio Valley.
