This weekend sees two big games in USFooty. In the midwest, we have probably the game of the weekend with the No. 7 Nashville Kangaroos travelling up to Milwaukee to take on the Bombers. In New York, the No. 4 New York Magpies are hosting their arch enemies the Boston Demons.
Game time:
1pm (Eastern) Tibbetts Brook Park, Yonkers NY, Boston Demons at No. 4 New York Magpies
2pm (Central) Kletzsch Park, Glendale WI, No. 7 Nashville Kangaroos at Milwaukee Bombers
According to Milwaukee Coach, Heath Moore, "This weekend is huge for us. Our numbers have been swelling in the last few weeks. Nashville play a very physical style of footy so we’ve been preparing for that and since it will be very hot that day, we’ve got a plan to keep everyone fresh." They will have to as Nashville has been playing some very good footy.
In New York, it is a "friendly" between the oldest and fiercest rivals in USFooty. According to New York Assistant Coach, Shane Devine "Boston versus New York are always great games. Whether we are struggling or they are struggling there is a certain passion in these games. We have perhaps the biggest rivalry in US footy and we expect nothing other than a physical and tough Boston side everytime we play them." That said, Devine is looking forward to the opportunity to give his younger and less experienced players some game time as New York prepares for the run up to Nationals.
