Stein came to footy from Gaelic football after her team was invited to play an exhibition game at the USFooty Nationals in Atlanta GA. Since that introduction she has become a leader of the most dominant team in US Womens Footy, the Atlanta Lady Kookaburras. She has become a fan of the Carlton Blues out of loyalty to her coach, long time Blues fan, Wayne Kraska. Her next challenge is building a successful team in her home state of Virginia with the Baltimore Washington Lady Eagles.
