The uptake of women's footy has been slow if you ask me. This still a male dominated sport and something I might put pen to paper about later.

Whats it going to take for clubs to realize the benefits of a womens team running along side a mens.?....in all cases their are no extra costs, no extra coaches needed, just an open mind that women are quite within their rights to want to play this game and hugely beneficial to the games growth as a sport in the USA.

Just saying..

OK, so I am an opinionated fanatic who spends too much time online and comments on everything. Guilty. As I begin to grow the Wichita team I plan on focusing on a women's team just as much as the men's. In fact I may have already found my team coordinator.
Especially just starting out I need numbers. I need people to pass to and receive from. I need some one behind the goal so we can practice set shots. I need mouths to spread the word about footy in general... and none of these tasks require a certain set of genitalia.
Besides, don't women usually attract guys?

Well look at some of the clubs now running with womens teams..NY, Denver, Sac, BWE, Boston. Notice a trend. ??
But if you are starting a womens team, just like a mens, be ready to split into two teams or more so you have someone to play ;)
