There was a brief mention over the weekend that fall here in the US is the best time of the year to be playing footy. So I wanted to ask does anyone know of teams that are playing any games from now till the end of the year.?
I know right now in many parts of the south, weather is perfect for footy, 55-75f and lower humidity. Are any teams using this opportunity plus the interest in the American football season to perhaps recruit and play scrimmage games?. Just would be interesting to know.

We lose too many players to co-ed flag football and basketball here in North Texas to play in the fall and winter.
We (Dallas Magpies AFC) start training in March, play Metro in March-May, play our first game in mid-April, take a break/road games in June-August, and play a few in September, if possible.

I heard the talk about missing some of the best weather. Which brings up the question, When is the best time for a US footy season? Depending on whether you are in Ft. Lauderdale or Minnesota the answer could be quite different.
I imagine that in Dallas you might be missing players because of high school football too. I know the local racetracks do.
