AFL says "No rule changes"

I was glad to see that AFL has decided to keep the advantage rule. I have read a lot of posts about how the rule is bad and that the umpires mess it up.
From what I see, it is players who make bad decisions. As a coach, I would strongly discourage any player from trying to take advantage when inside 20 or 30 meters.

No changes is a great thing, and really since they took the onus away from the umpires on whether it was advantage or not and just gave it to players its been 100% better.
Previously the umpire had to make the decision in a split second on whether the team was going to gain an advantage. So if a player gathered the ball and handballed he nearly had to wait to see if that handball hit the target. Now its just if a player gathers the ball and moves off the decision has been made by the player.
Yes not a lot of sense on taking advantage inside 35 yrds unless the player about to take the free is a 'duffer' of a kick and the player gathering is under no pressure and a good kick.
